The National Campus Climate Survey (NCCS)–a collaborative partnership between the University of Michigan and SoundRocket–offers colleges and universities across the nation affordable access to a national campus climate survey measuring sexual assault. Piloted at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor during Winter term (2015), the NCCS successfully measured sexual assault experiences in a college cohort–a task previously believed to be unattainable. The survey achieved a final response rate of approximately 67%, demonstrating the effectiveness of implementing a comprehensive and responsive survey design to achieve more balanced and representative responses. The NCCS is designed to meet all state and federal requirements for the conduct of sexual assault surveys and is committed to adapting as new laws emerge.
